Can anyone register for the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference 2023?

  • The Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference is run in conjunction with the Indo Pacific 2023 International Maritime Exposition (Indo Pacific 2023). Conference sessions are held within the exposition’s secure zone at International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
  • Indo Pacific 2023 is reserved for those with a professional, defence, governmental agency, business, academic, scientific, operational or response involvement in commercial maritime and naval defence related government and industry sectors. The event is not open to the general public.
  • Proceed to the Indo Pacific 2023 Registration Page, select Trade Visitor or Defence Visitor to begin and complete your personal details. Select Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference 2023 within the conference section.
  • Note: Seating is on first come, first served basis

Is there a registration fee to attend the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference?

  • No, there is no charge to attend the conference.

What will registration give me access to?

  • All Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference sessions.
  • Access to the Indo Pacific 2023 Exhibition Halls from Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 November.
  • Access to the Indo Pacific Official Networking Functions from 1700 – 1800 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 1530 - 1630 on Thursday.

I have registered to attend Indo Pacific 2023, how do I obtain my Visitor Badge?

  • All visitors will receive a Print @ Home badge to their nominated email address approximately mid October.
  • Simply print the attachment and bring it with you to Indo Pacific 2023 – this is your Visitor Badge for entry.

Where is the entry to Indo Pacific 2023 located?

  • The registration and security checkpoint to enter Indo Pacific 2023 is located on Level 2 of the ICC Sydney Convention Centre.
  • Entry is via the Iron Wharf Place Convention Centre entrance then via the Ground Level Escalators to Level 2.
  • Signage will be available to assist in you.

Is any catering included in my registration?

  • No, catering is not included in your registration. Refreshments will be available for purchase at cafes conveniently located throughout ICC Sydney and on the exhibition floor.
  • Note: ICC Sydney is a cashless venue.

Do I need to register as a delegate for the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference if I only want to attend the Indo Pacific 2023 Exhibition?

  • No.
  • Registration as an Indo Pacific 2023 Trade or Defence Visitor is free and will give you access to the Exhibition Halls from Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 November 2023.
  • Visitors maybe asked for evidence of accreditation such as applicable business card, defence ID, association membership etc. Accreditation must demonstrate involvement in the aforementioned industry sectors. Photo ID must be carried at all times.

Will security measures be in place during the Conference and Exposition?

  • Yes, delegates should be aware from Tuesday 7 – Thursday 9 November 2023 access control procedures will be in force. Delegates entering the conference and exposition venues will be subject to screening processes (similar to security checks undertaken at airports). Delegates should ensure their Visitor Badge is worn at all times when within the conference and exposition venues and must carry Photo/Defence ID at all times for security verification.

What attire should I wear to the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference?

  • Defence personnel should wear Dress of the Day, which is Navy S7’s (Summer regular day dress) or Service equivalent.
  • For international military personnel this equates to Summer regular day dress with ribbons.
  • Civilian equivalent is business attire.

I am registered for the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference, can I attend any sessions of the International Maritime Conference (IMC 2023)?

Will there be any Covid-19 restrictions during in place during Indo Pacific 2023?

  • Any Covid-19 restrictions will be in line with NSW State Government requirements at the time of the event.
  • Check the Indo Pacific 2023 website www.indopacificexpo.com.au as required for any updates.
